Builds and maintains a pool of highly-qualified candidates for our instructional support openings in our schools. Works closely with the Staffing Team to understand the needs of our schools, to identify and cultivate candidates who are best positioned to execute on our District’s vision that every child receives an excellent public school education and graduates from high school ready to succeed.
Essential Functions
Collaborates with the Staffing Team to understand the specific hiring needs in schools, qualitatively and quantitatively.
Actively manages the posting and advertising of positions on a variety of job boards, online social networking communities, and listservs.
Creates and manages a strategic campaign to recruit high-quality, diverse, and qualified candidates to fill our instructional support openings.
Becomes an expert on the designated area of concentration for recruitment
Creates strategic and aggressive sourcing plans designed to identify & attract top-notch, diverse, and mission-aligned talent.
Conducts research on prospective talent and meets with candidates to cultivate for our open roles.
Reviews application materials to identify the most promising candidates and phone interviews to assess the degree of potential fit for the position.
Strategically networks within and beyond the District and uses a variety of resources (social media, etc.) to identify and cultivate high-potential candidates.
Manages communication with candidates at various stages of the process, including scheduling interviews and updating candidates on their application status.
Analyzes recruitment data to develop/modify marketing and recruitment strategies.
Ensures an efficient “time to fill” for each role.
Manages a efficient system for tracking candidates and applicants throughout the hiring process.
Oversees the process for employee entering related to paperwork & clearances.
Maintains an up-to-date and accurate database for employee information, including application data and phone interview scores.
Supports and/or leads additional projects, as necessary, on an ongoing basis.
Builds an in-depth understanding of how our instructional support staff is evaluated and what excellence looks like in these positions to inform the profile for recruitment.

Selection Process Interviews may be conducted to determine how well a candidate meets the established criteria. Note that not all qualified candidates may be selected for an interview. The selected candidate must have no anecdotal record on file and have not been subject to any disciplinary action within the past eighteen (18) months, and have an excellent record of attendance and punctuality during the last three (3) years (defined as no more than eighteen (18) occasions of lateness or absence for personal illness in the last three years (3) years with the exception of one extended long-term absence).

Additional Information
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Three years of full-time, paid, professional experience in human resources/assets, recruitment, and/or admissions/selection
