Job Title
Program Coordinator - Supplier Relationships Management
Oversees the implementation of the programmatic activities at various school sites or the Partnerships in Character Education and the Learn and Serve Youth Driven Service Learning grants, Early Childhood Regional Center, Facilities Management Services. Procurement Services or in High Schools. Oversees the program operations and assures that the programmatic operations are in compliance with the grant or operating budget for the assigned area.
Essential Functions
Provide MWBE Goals & vendors for contracting opportunities.
Assist with supplier relations, customer service and vendor outreach activities.
Attend Pre-Bid Conferences.
Participate when required as an evaluating member for Request for Proposals, Request for Quote and Request for Qualification.
Evaluate and approve online resolutions.
Contract monitoring and compliance.
Oversight of certification payroll compliance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated knowledge of:
the principles and current practices in the specialized area.
the methods and techniques utilized in effective program planning, design, and administration.
software applications used to maintain databases and financial records.
Demonstrated ability to:
coordinate professional development activities.
assess the effectiveness of programmatic activities and to make cogent recommendations for modifications as needed.
use a personal computer for word processing and data management.
communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
establish and maintain effective relationships.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Four years of full-time, paid, professional experience in program management and implementation, which has included experience with academic enrichment in a large urban district or overseeing components of financial and administrative operations in a large organization.
OR
Any combination of training and experience determined to be acceptable by the Office of Human Resources.
Selection Process Interviews may be conducted to determine how well a candidate meets the established criteria. Note that not all qualified candidates may be selected for an interview. The selected candidate must have no anecdotal record on file and have not been subject to any disciplinary action within the past eighteen (18) months, and have an excellent record of attendance and punctuality during the last three (3) years (defined as no more than eighteen (18) occasions of lateness or absence for personal illness in the last three years (3) years with the exception of one extended long-term absence).
