Primary Role:

The Student Recruitment Coordinator leads district efforts to inform students and parents about the New Frontiers Public Schools mission and empowers them to apply the Frank L. Madla Accelerated Collegiate Academy and the Frank L. Madla Early College High School. 

Scope of Work:

The Student Recruitment Coordinator will execute a comprehensive strategy to meet the student enrollment growth targets of the organization. Initiatives include grassroots centered recruitment, promotion of school and its mission to prospective families, delivering informational presentations, collaboration with a non-profit organization and community organizations.

 The Student Recruitment Coordinator works with the campus leadership, administrative staff, school counselors, nurses and parents.

 Qualifications:

·         Bilingual – Spanish

·         Valid Texas driver’s license

·         Must pass a fingerprinting/background check ($52.00 at the applicant’s expense)

 Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Business degree in marketing/sales preferred

 Skills:

·         Ability to connect with parents and community members

·         Goal oriented and outcome driven

·         Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

·         Ability to work well with individuals with diverse backgrounds

·         Event planning experience

·         Knowledge of Title I programs, school mission and admissions requirements

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and database management

 Experience:

·         Minimum of 2 years experience preferred in marketing, sales or student recruitment or related field

 Responsibilities and Duties:

·         Execute a comprehensive student recruitment strategy to meet the growth plans of the organization

·         Identify opportunities to engage prospective students and parents

·         Analyze ROI of recruitment initiatives for future planning

·         Establish and maintain effective relationships with administrators, staff, representatives from other institutions, and the public

·         Provides information regarding admissions requirements and program benefits to prospective students and parents via phone, mail and personal visits; follows up with mail or phone call, as appropriate

·         Assists new students with the enrollment process  

·         Produces reports of recruitment activity and metric outcomes

·         Align recruitment efforts to support overall the district public affairs strategy

·         Provides multi-campus support during registration, special events and campus tours

·         Plan, coordinate and organize open house and informational session events

·         Collaborate with internal departments on the development of pertinent recruitment training and new student enrollment process

·         Facilitate planning, organization, and implementation of targeted recruitment events

·         Serve as liaison between the school and prospective parents

·         Communicate regularly with the principal, school counselor, teachers, parents, nurse and other staff

Additional Job-Related Duties:

·         Keep up-to-date on and abide by state and public charter school regulations  

·         Gather, manage and file all reports, records and other documents required
