UIC College Prep, Chicago’s highest-performing non-selective high school, is seeking a Dean of Culture & Discipline to join the campus leadership team.

About the Position

UIC College Prep (UICCP) is currently seeking a Dean of Culture & Discipline. As a member of our administrative team, the Dean of Discipline is responsible for making sure UICCP is a “Culture First” environment. He or she will posses a clear vision for a strong school culture and will articulate this vision to students and staff. This position takes on a variety of responsibilities including: managing the school culture and safety team, ensuring 100% consistency from all stakeholders around Noble’s discipline system, investing students and parents in our culture, and analyzing school-wide trends around student behavioral outcomes. And, as with all team members at UICCP, the Dean of Culture & Discipline helps in every facet of school operations to ensure the school remains among the nation’s most transformative schools.

• Passion and commitment to the mission of Noble and UIC College Prep; particularly Noble’s approach to discipline and culture.

• An undeniable track record of success in and/or outside of a classroom with student culture and discipline

• A clear ability to build successful relationships with adults and school-aged children from a diverse range of Chicago communities

• Humility, a strong work ethic, and a ‘roll up my sleeves’ mentality
