Providing educators with differentiated and job-embedded supports, the School District of Philadelphia’s Educator Effectiveness Office is committed to attaining high levels of student growth and achievement through the evaluation, support, and development of excellent teachers and school leaders. Instructional Leader support is provided by a group of highly motivated, skilled, and passionate coaches who design individualized support programs to serve instructional leaders in the field. The Office of Effectiveness establishes and implements strategies for the evaluation, development, and retention of outstanding leaders, working to ensure that a highly effective principal is in every school building.
The Manager of the Instructional Leadership Coaching program will provide direct support and oversight to Instructional Leadership Coaches (ILCs). The manager will lead the work of the Instructional Leadership Coach team as they assist principals and assistant principals. Clarifies roles, responsibilities, and expectations as needed and provides ongoing coaching and feedback to ILCs . Ensures that the Instructional Leadership Coach Team evolves and works effectively, setting and meeting time sensitive goals. Participates in the strategic planning process for the Teacher Effectiveness Office. Ensures that data pertaining to the evaluation of the Instructional Leadership Coach program is systematically collected, reviewed, shared with stakeholders (including Assistant Superintendents) and maintained to proactively address programmatic concerns.

Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Administrative certificate for K-12
